Impinging on the reality of the reader... do my wrinkles show? Do I look old?

It will hit squarely on anything the view has experienced related to that. The dejection of the boy choosing her best friend of her (but more truthfully on the actions she did to others like leaving him for the better looking, that will stick in it like nothing else) only sais you have a sale in sight.

This appears to me to play on low level emotion, it may in the oppurtunity play on hope and aspirations, but would have to be targeted a bit more precisely to enure this.
